Barns
Barns, Windmills, silos, tractors... can be found all along the country-side of the American landscape. Some still function but many stand as a mark of fruitful times now gone. Old barns tell a story of use and abuse. Plywood and 2 x 4 patches hide old wounds and create scars worn shamelessly for decades as the structure sags under its own weight. The Barns series explores a potential narrative within the aesthetic. This particular barn entitled Slaughterhouse, suggests this barn and its owner share a dark and bloody history.
